We missed our annual catchup with Dean last year as neither we nor Dean made contact with each other at that time of the year. I would have liked a reminder from Dean to prompt me to arrange that meeting with him.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
We wanted to start paying into a pension plan again, having not done so for many years, and planning for retirement.

Dean has provided advice about how much we should be investing in pensions in order to enjoy retirement at the time we are ready for it, and what level of risk we should be targeting. He has talked us through the funds that our money is being invested in and explained how these funds are managed once money is invested. He has explained market conditions and how these affect us. He has also made changes quickly when we have requested them. He has taken care of everything for us.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
After an initial dip due to market conditions, we have seen steady growth to our plans, which have outperformed the market averages, which we are delighted with. Dean has also been a calm and reassuring voice. We enjoy our meetings with Dean as we always feel positive about the future and that our money is in safe hands after we have met with him.
