What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
Originally I wanted my money to be invested into ESG funds as I am passionate about the state of nature, climate change and biodiversity. Emily has been my advisor for a couple of years now after the resignation of my previous financial advisor.
How has Emily helped you?
She has made recommendations regarding my personal investments and for the monies invested in a Trust which I am in the process of setting up for my grandchildren. She is very professional and knowledgeable.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
I have been very pleased with the growth of my investments to date.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
On taking up my UCAS pension, I was required to speak to a financial advisor. After some research, I settled on The Private Office and they put me in contact with Dean.
How has Dean helped you?
For me personally, good advice about how to deal with inheritance tax, my state pension, my university pension, and my salary (I still work full time). After discussions and online financial planning for my (and my wife's) future financial needs, I bought a second home and will now give regular monthly sums to my adult son. For my wife, consolidation of a number of pensions that she has acquired after moving jobs multiple times. The sums are now, thanks to Dean, well-invested.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes, I am glad I bought the second home - I feel it was financially sensible. Also, my wife is very pleased with her pension arrangements.
