What could they have done better?
Not urgent, but it would be good to re-evaluate my pension drawdown strategy taking the most recent budget into account which has now included death taxes on pensions eg .

I needed to transfer a company pension into a SIP

The pension was transferred as planned , Jason provided good advice on the way through the process and now is advising on drawdown and investment risk strategy

What could they have done better?
From a lay persons perspective it may be nice to learn a little more about what Alex is advising about so maybe a leaflet explaining the funds or general investments etc so that over time I become better informed.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
I was looking for an independent Chartered Financial Planner. I initially used Unbiased.com to find a firm and then spoke to Alex about my personal situation and plans.
How has Alex helped you?
Alex reviewed my financial status, attitude to risk and future plans. Based on these he prepared recommendations and then implemented them after a consultation and my agreement. Since then we have yearly reviews of my status and plans as well as ad hoc calls as and when I need them. He is always approachable and responsive. He understands my attitude to risk and situation and advises accordingly.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Plans are still afoot but so far so good. I have seen my investments grow.

Personally, I would like TPO to be able to offer more tax advice. This is not specifically related to Jason as I am aware this is a company policy.

Management of exisitng investments and planning for the future
