Nothing leaps to mind. The SIPP used the wrong tax code for my drawdown which means I am paying HMRC back for a few months but I dont think this was anything down to Jason.
I was considering retirement. I just needed to be sure that I was in a good position to do so. I felt I probably was but needed someone who could confirm it was a good idea.
Jason confirmed my plan was workable and set up the transfers and investment buckets needed. I would have had no idea how to do this. I would probably opted for an annuity and this would be an expensive and not very tax efficient option. I also needed to make sure my wife has a sufficient pension if anything happened to me.
The plan seems to be working. I feel comfortable with how it’s progressing.
Bearing in mind that I have only been introduced to Ed over the last couple of months or so , which have been perfectly satisfactory, I have not had enough time to formulate any further judgements.
I have been a client and, I hope, friend of Roger Clarke for the last thirty years or so. He is retiring at the end of this year. I need someone else to carry on the good work.
I hope that Ed will continue to handle my affairs in exactly the same way as Roger Clarke has
