I required a Pension financial advisor for long and short term planning for my own and my family's financial security

What could they have done better?
The communication has been good and it has only been my Existing pension provider that has been difficult.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
I was after retirement age and wanted to retirement but having been missold pension advice in the past my workplace pension was not going to give me what I needed.

He has provided cover for me until 100 and was really easy to understand. His explanation was clear to understand.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
We were introduced to Jack through a company benefit that offered a pension review. Initially, we wanted to ensure our pension arrangements were aligned with our long-term plans. As we were both approaching 50 and our children were becoming more independent, we decided it was the right time to undertake a full financial review. We wanted a clearer understanding of our retirement options and whether any changes to our strategy would help us achieve our future goals.

He took the time to understand our plans for the future and our attitude to risk, giving us confidence that we're in a strong financial position. He has recommended several adjustments to ensure our strategy is aligned with our objectives and continues to provide valuable insights and guidance, helping us focus on the right things as we plan for retirement.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
As we're only in our second year of what we expect to be a long-term financial planning relationship, it's still relatively early to measure outcomes against our longer-term goals. However, the first year has gone very well, and we've recently completed our first annual review. Jack has given us confidence that we're on the right track. He is always responsive, approachable, and proactive in keeping us informed, and any requests are handled quickly and efficiently. So far, we're very pleased with the service and guidance we've received.
