To release funds to help my daughter.
Everything went perfectly from my initial phone call to the equity release hitting my bank. Special mention must go to Chris South who whilst working under difficult personal circumstances did a fantastic job. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Laterliving Now to anyone wanting equity release advice.
100% Yes.
Everything was totally satisfactory from start to finish.
We have no dependents who would really need an inheritance so decided to put the Equity in our house to use now for home improvements and a newer car. We had considered using companies that advertise in newspapers or on the television but preferred to discuss equity release face-to-face.
We knew that Simon was involved with setting up the Principles of the Equity Release Council in 2012 so we had every confidence he would be trustworthy, experienced and knowledgeable. He listened carefully to our requirements and found the ideal solution for us.
Most definitely. There was no time-wasting and everything went through smoothly.
Nothing
I needed some funds to renew my motor vehicle and to do some work on both the inside and outside iof my property
I have been given both verbal and written advice to ensure that I understood the whole process. Simon has been available when needed to answer questions/queries and kept me posted each step of the way - at no point did I feel out of control
Yes
I don't believe that Nick could have done any more for us than he did, and we believe we made an excellent choice in using his services.
We were looking to re-mortgage for the first time, so a fresh experience for us. After speaking to a couple of prospective brokers, we decided to use Nick for our work. He was especially concerned to spend time with us initially to really ensure that the re-mortgage was absolutely necessary for us, and that were had properly thought through our position, and made us very aware of the implications of using the product, and the ongoing commitment it would require. He then gave us a good deal of space to make our final decision, which was much appreciated.
Nick has helped us go through the maze of products available, and after understanding our precise needs, he went away and came back with a small number of products that could be suitable. Again, he highlighted the pros/cons of each product, and spent a good deal of time with us ensuring we properly understood each product, he did all of this in a calm, professional manner, and we were reassured by his knowledge of the products and process. He talked us through each step of the process, and made sure he was available to answer any small queries along the way.
Yes, we have seen the result we were looking for, and it has been achieved in the time-scales that Nick had indicated were possible at the outset. He was particularly attentive to all aspects of the completion process, which again was a reassuring position for ourselves.
It is hard to think of anything that could have been done better to be honest.
We need to investigate equity release in order to provide continued funding for my mother's care
Simon provided friendly advice and guided us through the process. He was excellent and highly responsive at every stage of the process and followed through on our requests in a timely and efficient way.
Due to complications, we needed to revise our plans for equity release and have decided to use a personnal loan instead to support my mother's continuing care requirements. We really appreciate the way the Simon graciously accepted our decision.
