What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
I am due to take a defined benefit pension next March 2027 and I wanted to talk to an adviser about whether to take the lump sum or not.
How has Graeme helped you?
Graeme advised me that I could take a partial lump sum for a reduced pension which I didn't know and he obtained all the relevant information from my pension scheme administrators. After filling in a budget sheet which worked out how much I would need to live in he obtained 3 different options plus a transfer value and early retirement quote. He explained everything very well and was available to answer questions as they arose. He also did an attitude to risk assessment and gave advice on how to invest the lump sum
