At the time we did not have a financial advisor and wanted to ensure we had good advice on preparing for retirement.

Elaine has reviewed our portfolio and discussed openly and honestly the pros and cons of following different investment strategies. She has advised us in a professional and friendly manner and has made several changes to re-balance and re-direct our savings. Elaine also went through an in-depth cash flow analysis to help us feel more comfortable with the ability to have enough funds when we retire.

Yes, we feel more confident with the changes that Elaine has made and now better understand how to manage our investments going forward. We have also seen improved returns on the investments that have been re-balanced at Elaine's suggestion.

Nothing, I have been fully engaged along the journey and regular reviews have ensured appropriate adjustments to investments and risk levels have been made to align with my financial needs as they have changed or arisen.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
Early retirement/redundancy and my desire to remove funds from my various employment pension schemes into a SIPP & amalgamate other investments and liquid funds to hold in an easily accessible ISA

After a full financial review we transferred pensions and other assets into a SIPP and ISA with discussed and agreed risk levels, Elaine was exceptionally helpful through the entire process ensuring that I fully understood the new products I was moving into along with the associated blend of investment and potential returns, the risks, my options for access to funds, and the associated fees.

I honestly can't think of one thing that could have been done better. Her service, knowledge and advice over many years is faultless.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
As a director of my limited company a personal pension was so important and I really needed help to understand how to plan for my future.

I'm not sure where to start really! I have recently retired at 60 which was my goal and without Elaine's help and advice over many years I would not be in the financial position that I now find myself in. The meetings I have with her are invaluable. Her knowledge and understanding of her own industry and mine have made everything so straightforward and easy for me to understand.
