Gary has continued to advise on my pensions and has provided a comprehensive report of my pension holdings which has been reviewed and discussed recently in our annual review meeting. He has recommended a further transfer this year to maximise my tax benefit, by moving my remaining Barclays pot across into my main pension pot. This was something I was expecting to do and was just waiting for the appropriate time to progress this. A number of alternative options were also provided, such as purchasing an annuity. These were discussed in detail to enable me to choose the best option for me. He has also identified that my tax needs to be reviewed as there may have been an element of over payment on the interest earned on my savings. He will be assessing this once I have my new Tax code for, 2026/2027 along with the Interest certificates for my savings accounts. As ever he is very proactive and always responds quickly to any queries raised or to provide advice.
