What could they have done better?
Very seldom do I say this in response to this question, but I cannot think of one thing that could have made my experiences more effective or fruitful.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
I have been a client of Emily's for almost 20 years, initially working with her to remortgage my home. As Emily's career and business thrived, I continued to have her partner me as my financial adviser.
How has Emily helped you?
Emily and her business partner have partnered me through key decision points in my career and life to enable me to make positive choices with my finances to enable me to change career, become self employed, support my daughters and plan for the life I'd like to live.

Without a doubt and in some areas, even more than I could have hoped or considered.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
I had several 'pension pots' which had arisen over my career from different employers etc. I had no idea whether or not they should be transferred/consolidated or indeed how I would go about it. I also had no idea as to whether my pensions were likely to be sufficient for the lifestyle that I was hoping to enjoy during retirement, nor whether I had properly prepared for passing on any wealth to my children at the end.
How has Emily helped you?
All of my 'pension pots' have been consolidated and I have complete visibility of the overall value and how it is performing. I have a financial plan that confirms that I can enjoy the lifestyle that I hope for and which has identified other opportunities along the way.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Absolutely. The visibility that I have going forward gives me confidence to enjoy life as I want to. The annual reviews of my situation are thorough and the adjustments to my financial plan each year are carried out with a real understanding of who I am and where I want to be.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
I recently divorced and needed to invest in a financial plan which would meet my needs and retirement goals. I wanted to work with an Adviser I could be comfortable with and who would take the time and patience to explain what options were available to me in a no nonsense and jargon free manner.
