I had several 'pension pots' which had arisen over my career from different employers etc. I had no idea whether or not they should be transferred/consolidated or indeed how I would go about it. I also had no idea as to whether my pensions were likely to be sufficient for the lifestyle that I was hoping to enjoy during retirement, nor whether I had properly prepared for passing on any wealth to my children at the end.
All of my 'pension pots' have been consolidated and I have complete visibility of the overall value and how it is performing. I have a financial plan that confirms that I can enjoy the lifestyle that I hope for and which has identified other opportunities along the way.
Absolutely. The visibility that I have going forward gives me confidence to enjoy life as I want to. The annual reviews of my situation are thorough and the adjustments to my financial plan each year are carried out with a real understanding of who I am and where I want to be.
Nothing, to my knowledge

I recently divorced and needed to invest in a financial plan which would meet my needs and retirement goals. I wanted to work with an Adviser I could be comfortable with and who would take the time and patience to explain what options were available to me in a no nonsense and jargon free manner.
Emily and her Team have provided the reassurance and peace of mind that I can be confident of my financial future.
Yes - I feel more confident and reassured in my future financial aims and objectives.

If we were asked to find a phrase to describe the approach that Life Matters has taken with us over many years of trusted and professional service concerning our financial affairs it would be this: ‘If it matters to you, it matters to us’ The team have a fundamental and consistent understanding that offering pastoral care as well as financial advice means that we feel loved and respected. We find that that our hopes and dreams for ourselves and our family are always treated as essential elements to consider as financial decisions are made and honest assessments of any risks are explored. Essentially, we feel safe with Life Matters. We are deeply grateful for their wise guidance throughout the complex, constantly changing world of money management which is frequently beyond our own capabilities to negotiate. We look forward to continuing in our relationship with Life Matters for the foreseeable future.
Yes, indeed
We have discussed fuller data access to enable more personal scenario planning online however It's not a great priority as the team remain responsive to any scenarios we wish to run.
I had consolidated several pension plans and was self-managing for 2 years. I realised I needed professional and dedicated support and searched for a service that offered more than than simple financial advice. I was also keen to find local support so we could meet rather than rely on remote service.
Emily and her team have provided us with a structured and detailed plan that has provided us with some comfort and confidence in the future. As well as straightforward financial advice they ask 'good questions' and challenge us on ambitions and attitude to risk. Their business title 'Life Matters' neatly captures the service offering - its not all about the ROI (although that is important!).
Yes and if anything, expectations have been exceeded.
