I wanted to consider consolidating several pensions and get advice on transferring out of a final salary pension.
Chris was thorough and clear about my options.
Too early to comment.
We we’re planning retirement and wanted advice and options on how to manage our money
He gave us clear options on how we could merge all of our investments for a better return in retirement.
It was unfortunate that our transfers started right on lockdown and we had a number of different investments so it became quite confusing what was happening. Chris and his team did try and to clarify things as much as possible
I decided to retire in early 2020 at the age of 60 and was looking for pension planning and investment advice. I had a DC pension with my current employer and a deferred DB pension from a previous employer. I am relatively financially astute, with some significant equity investments, but wanted to use the services of an experienced IFA to assist me with my retirement planning.
Having searched the market, met with and carefully considered the merits of a number of financial professionals, I chose Chris Breward and his Wealth of Advice team. I met with Chris and his team for initial fact finding and to discuss my retirement aspirations and circumstances. We discussed options and attitude to risk etc. I was keen on consolidating my pension funds to make use of the flexible drawdown option, including DB pension transfer advice. These early meetings convinced me I had made the right choice. Chris and his team offer a personalised professional and courteous service, clearly explaining the pros and cons at each step in the process.
It is early days in terms of measuring investment performance returns as I retired only 4 months ago at the end of March. However, I am very satisfied and pleased with the advice and services provided to date by Chris and his team. We have agreed and implemented a plan with respect to my pensions and investments. WoA are available when needed for discussion and advice, and have been proactive in helping me with key decisions and looking after my financial interests through out this difficult Covid-19 period. I see this as a long term mutually beneficial relationship and look forward hopefully to a long and financially secure retirement.
Nothing of any significance that I am aware of.
Needed to move company pension into a private scheme
Chris explained options to me , even suggesting it may be better to leave pension with company , never felt pressuried into making a decision , found chris to be very professional
im pleased with outcome , everything was explained clearly to me
my first time with a financial advisor so cant really comment but as stated found chris to be professional and very friendly
I had a number of pensions accumulated over the past 40 years or so. I needed to establish what my pension would be if I were to retire early than my state pension date
Chris helped by bringing my pensions together to help realise my goal of an earlier retirement
As yet I have not taken my pension still being employed
Being fairly new to this Chris was a great help could he have been better only time will tell though at the moment I think he is doing a good job
