What could they have done better?
Too early to say, but so far a very good start.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
I already had an adviser for many years but wanted a more analytical and detailed approach to planning. TRhis involves technical reports and attention to detail and various runs at financial modelling to assess the impact of various financial stresses on my pot. What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
We intially looked for an adviser when we relocated back to the UK after having lived abroad for several years. We needed to understand how to most efficiently manage our cash/savings portfolio in this country and eventually obtain a mortgage.
How has Jonty helped you?
Jonty has helped us a lot over the past few years. He assisted with arranging our mortgage, financial protection policies, ongoing pension and tax-efficiency advice, and general financial planning. Whenever we have had a question on financial matters he has always promptly and helpfully answered and guided us.

Yes, our financial position is now very strong and I believe we have optimised wherever we have been able to, thanks to Jonty's advice.

What could they have done better?
Nothing as far as I am concerned.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
I met Trevor Jackson, who was then a junior financial adviser for a firm in Bristol, some 50 years ago. Since then I stayed with Trevor as he built up his own business and latterly, amalgamated with Amber River. From his early years as a financial adviser Trevor has been a considered adviser taking great care to match his clients with their stated aspirations. I have always had total confidence that Trevor's advice has not only be very well researched but has eschewed passing fashions in the financial world. This tradition has been passed to Jonty who, it seems to me, emulates all the features of Trevor's work practises which attracted me at the outset and have earned my loyalty since.

By providing carefully considered advice in a clear and easily comprehended way and by achieving impressive financial results. I have total confidence that my portfolio is reviewed and considered on a regular basis in an objective and entirely independent way and that annual advice reflects the changes in the financial world over time and are designed to protect my financial security.
