What could they have done better?
Nothing from our perspective.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
We have been connected to Martin and the Financial Company he works for over 25 years. It started out as I worked for a local Charity and this company offered the pension infrastructure. And we have seen no reason to change the relationship with Martin or the Company. I now work for a national Charity and Martin has advised us throughout that time.
How has Martin helped you?
Martin has made my wife and I more savvy to the importance of financial planning for our retirement. The company were also significant in advising us very early on to take out a level of critical illness cover, that was an absolute God send to us given the change to my personal circumstances. Advising us clearly on combining pensions into one investment portfolio and the power of salary sacrifice! Not sure we would be in the position we are in when we get to retirement in a couple of years without Martin's guidance.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Absolutely and then some. Martin's straightforward, pragmatic approach and the type of direct questions he ask, really work for Sue and I. We have confidence in Martin and believe that he really is looking out for us to achieve the best we can financially for our retirement. And we like him...

What could they have done better?
I'm happy with the current service.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
A recommendation from a friend guided us to HDA , plus retirement was looming and with no financial experience it seemed prudent to get sound advice.
How has Daniel helped you?
Daniel has been courteous and precise in all dealings we have had with him. No waffle just straight to the point.

i cannot think of anything to improve the benefits i receive.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
It was a service provided through my works pension scheme and i have used it ever since.
How has Daniel helped you?
Dan advises me regarding how much my monthly pension payments are and he keeps in touch with me regularly. Very good service overall.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
I have a pension that provides me with what i need. As Dan has said before i can always call on him for advice if i need it.

I had to finish work to look after my Mum and Dad

I wasn’t sure that I would be financially able to finish work to look after my Mum and Dad but after speaking to Dan he assured me that it would not be a problem

With Dan’s help it has worked out very well
