What could they have done better?
The only thing I can think of is the portals. The new portal is not a big improvement on the last. I've been meaning to talk to him about this.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
We had just relocated back to the UK from the US after a tumultuous couple of years, and had let go of our previous financial adviser in the UK. We knew we had to get back to financial planning for the future and Paul came highly recommended from a close friend.
How has Paul helped you?
From our first meeting, Paul's calm and reassuring demeanour put us at ease and instilled confidence. He is always helping us think through the most tax efficient way of managing our assets.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
He has set us up to fund school and university for our children, and we are on target to achieve our retirement goals. We are extremely grateful to him and his team for putting use in the best possible position we could be in for our circumstances.

I don’t think there are any things that he could have done better, Josh is responsive to any challenges and questions as they arise.

I needed financial advice after the death of my husband and to create a new long term plan for myself and my children.

Josh has been very helpful in explaining the options, organising a long term financial plan, and carrying out the practicalities of the new portfolio. He has a good knowledge of the sector and where to get additional information as required. He listens to my priorities, responds promptly to queries and we have regular and thorough reviews of the portfolio. He is also clear about the charges incurred.

Yes I am happy that Josh has provided the right advice and has been effective in putting the new arrangements in place. He provides regular updates and responds promptly to any queries.

predicted the market haha...i'm kidding, of course that's pretty much impossible. There is nothing they could have done any better and they are always informative when i ask questions.

I was looking to put money somewhere that ordinarily would have been sitting in an account

He has helped to put money into a stocks and shares pension and explained in meetings where this has gone and why it is a good place to put it.

There are always ups and downs in the market so i didn't go in with many expectations other than to make some money and that i have done.
