What could they have done better?
Nothing - very happy with how things are, including the way the company has managed its succession planning.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
Our previous advisor retired and we were lucky enough to be recommended to Ifamax and during our relationship with them was assigned Ashton who has remained our advisor ever since.
How has Ashton helped you?
He has helped us to forge a pathway through our inheritance journeys which he has done in a professional and understanding way. He gives us sound advice and we have other close family members who are also looked after by Ashton and his colleagues, which gives us peace of mind that the bigger picture is being monitored.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes and we will continue to see this I am sure.

What could they have done better?
Absolutely nothing - It is a pleasure working with Kat, made particularly easy when I can bring my four-legged friend into such a dog-friendly office - he appreciates our check-ins as much as I do!

I was recommended to Kat by a family member when I received a lump sum of inheritance and wished to plan for my financial future using an expert's advice.

Kat has been wonderful in supporting me in understanding and protecting my personal finances, particularly through the purchase of my first home. Kat is always great at explaining any recommendations for improvements that I can make as well as changes that I should be aware of. What could they have done better?
Nothing obvious comes to mind as we are always impressed. What we could have done better though was to involve Kattrina & IFA Max much earlier in our financial planning!
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
Redundancy monies and wishing to bring to fruition a 5 year plan (and beyond) to secure our financial future more than it was.

Yes and as with all financial investments there are natural peaks and troughs and the knowledge and guidance given at every stage is invaluable and reassuring. Regular checkpoints provide us with proactive and reactive investment changes that continue to secure an overall long term upwards trend. We have achieved more than we had hoped we would thanks to the expertise of Kattrina and IFA Max.

Jamie has been our adviser for 7 years now. He helped provide the recommendation for our pension transfers. Our interactions are now half yearly or as a need arises. Jamie provides clarity around investment performance and options, cash flow planning and optimisation of pension drawdown from a tax perspective.
