What could they have done better?
I don't think anything could have been done to improve the service and advise given/.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
Rob was known to me via the company he worked for before setting up Rootes Wealth Management. And as I was looking to change advisor Rob seemed the the obvious choice.
How has Robert helped you?
Rob did all the 'donkey work' regarding the change in provider. Rob takes time to explain all that is required regarding investments and looking after my pension in general. I sometimes struggle to understand some of the vageries of pensions but if there is anything I don't undersatnd then Rob is always on the end of a phone to explain in laymens terms or, as I like to call it, 'English' as some terminology baffles me!
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Definately. I would have struggled in any attempt to change my provider and Rob helped tremendously with all aspects of this. Always keeping me informed of how progress was being made. Talking to me with regard to the future and making me more confident in that future.

What could they have done better?
There is nothing that Rob could have done better. There were some lumps and bumps along the way during the transfer but these were not of Rob's making. He was on to them immediately and smoothed them out.
What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
I was looking to move my pension portfolio from the company and platform I was using at the time.
How has Robert helped you?
He has handled all the paperwork, processes and administration which result from such a move and helped me forge a path forward with regard to my current and future retirement income.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Absolutely. I think I would have really struggled to deal with all that was involved in the changeover without Rob's help. I was kept fully informed of progress at all stages of the process and, indeed, if the anticipated progress wasn't happening Rob proactively chased up the situation and kept checking and monitoring to ensure deadlines were met and correct values transferred. Now that has completed, Rob has been discussing his proposals for going forward with me.

I was coming up to retirement and needed advice

Rob has dealt with everything on our behalf and he's been very helpful in all areas and has arranged everything. He's honest and easy to talk to and we strongly recommend him. Thank you so much for everything Rob.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
I felt that I had not paid enough attention to my pensions during my working life but when it came to my latter years of work Rob was recommended to me and cannot speak highly enough of his approach and trustworthiness.
How has Robert helped you?
He helped consolidate my existing pensions and develop a plan to optimise my pension at time of retirement. He was exceptional at explaining the technicalities and helping me understand the most optimal solution.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
I would not hesitate in recommending him to friends and family. My pension plan is working well but Rob has also offered wider financial advice and guidance to me and my family.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
I was initially connected with Rob via a corporate arrangement between the company I retired from and the company Rob worked for at the time

Rob has been an extremely knowledgeable advisor in maintaining the value of my private pension over the past six years or so. I'm so impressed with Robs awareness of how world events affect investments and trust his consequential judgements. He has a calm and friendly manner and immense patience when explaining various financial mechanisms and rationale

We all always expect and want more from our investments, don't we? In the face of that Rob has maintained strong value in my pension despite a tough period for investment over the past few years
