We wanted to discuss the transfer of pensions from a company scheme to one with drawdown capabilities.

Yes. Our pension ‘pot’ is growing nicely and we are able to draw a monthly pension to meet our financial requirements.

I met Chris when we were both business networking. Immediately impressed with Chris’s personable approach. I realised that I needed to have a more defined plan for my various pensions and investments.

Chris developed a more structured plan covering pensions and investments in the light of my attitude to risk. This is ongoing as circumstances and tax law change.

I made ethical investments many years ago but didn't have a financial advisor to check if the investments were still appropriate

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial adviser?
Realising we ought to be looking at alternatives to just cash ISAs as savings, but wanting to get good advice.
How has Chris helped you?
Investment management, splitting stocks and shares and cash savings. Planning for the future, tax efficient investments, IHT planning and options, looking at future spending and planning accordingly. We have an annual review, and if we need any interim advice we can contact or meet up as required.

Yes, we have been given good advice on investments, and now retired how to plan for the future.

Matthew helped me transfer my original pension which I was informed by the supplier was actually losing money due to cost of living rate to a scheme which has now given a great return in only 12 months. He also gave me informative and sound investment advice regarding savings. This has also resulted in an excellent interest rate.
